Did Descartes
Depart
With the thought
"Therefore I'm not"?

Above is the winning entry from  a 1983  Games magazine contest
called "Do you Clerihew?"
(How the winner got away with Thought and Not as rhymes is beyond me)
We've been here before, but to review:
The Clerihew is a four line biographical poem invented by Edmund Clerihew Bentley. Usually whimsical, of irregular length and meter (for comic effect), rhyme scheme is AABB, first line contains subject's name.

Oh lucky Mike Rice
Though he did pay a price
abusive coaches simply fail
Anyone else?  Probably jail.

John Boehner John Boehner
you orange complainer
page after page, the script of your show
contains nothing more than an emphatic "no."

Bibi said,  Let's cut the drama...
 discussing history with Obama
You only became the greatest of nations
after putting your natives on remote reservations.

O Albany O Albany
three cheers for good ole Tammany
where power flows just like Niagara
where big Dicks rule with cash Viagra

Mr. Wayne LaPierre, speaking for the NRA
blamed the violence on movies and games people play
Oh Really?  Oh Wayne, how many bodies do you see
bullet ridden near the TV or lying dead by a Wii?
